As the cruise industry continues to grow by leaps and bounds, outpacing itself each year since 2021, and expected to continue growing through the next few years and beyond...it comes as no surprise that with a rise in cruising comes a rise in ship demand. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has seen incredible numbers in the past few years, and is meeting the demands of the public by introducing several new ships that will enter service in 2025 and 2026. All three brands- Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises are building new ships, from activity-packed contemporary cruise ship, to ulta-luxury vessels.
Norwegian Cruise Line
2025: NORWEGIAN AQUA
Jumping off the popularity of the Prima Class ships, Norwegian is rolling out their new Prima-Plus Class with the introduction of Norwegian Aqua. This class will have ships that are a bit larger than the two Prima Class vessels, featuring new venues and concepts that are sure to delight NCL fans. Norwegian Aqua will be making her official debut in at the beginning of 2025.
2026: UNNAMED PRIMA-PLUS CLASS SHIP
Details are currently under wraps, but in 2026 NCL will release a 2nd Prima-Plus Class ship. Name and inaugural date are still to be announced.
Oceania Cruises
2026: OCEANIA ALLURA
Oceania will be introducing their second Allura Class ship in 2025- Oceania Allura. This will be a sister ship to Vista, and will feature the same luxurious finishes, and many of the same venues that guests have some to know and love. She will begin her inaugural season in the Mediterranean, before heading across the Atlantic to the Americas.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
2026: SEVEN SEAS PRESTIGE
In 2026 the inauguration of Seven Seas Prestige will mark the introduction of Regent's first new class in over 10 years- The Prestige Class. Prestige will be the largest Regent ship to date, and will feature the highest passengers to space ratio of any of their ships. We don't know much about this vessel yet, but look forward to more information as Regent releases it.
