Norwegian Cruise Line has just announced that Breakaway-Plus Class ship, Norwegian Encore, will be undergoing extensive enhancements at the end of this year. Encore will be in dry dock from November 18, 2024 to December 3, 2024. During this two week period she will receive renovations that include the addition of Spice H2O, redesigned Haven suites, and expanded dining.

SPICE H2O | The popular adults-only outdoor lounge will be added to Encore. This area will replace the laser tag arena, and will feature an elevated design by NCL's longtime design partners- Studio Dado. Spice H2O will feature multiple hot tubs, eight large day beds, cooling pools, and a bar. It's the perfect way for the adults to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the ship.

DINING | The enhancements will also include the expansion of two dining venues that are beloved by NCL fans- Cagney's Steakhouse, and Teppanyaki. Teppanyaki will take over the Los Lobos' footprint, allowing for greater capacity in this popular, hibachi-style restaurant. In addition Ocean Blue will be converted to another guest favorite- Palomar, featuring delicious Mediterranean cuisine.

THE HAVEN SUITES | Because of the growing demand for 3-bedroom suites that was seen on Prima, Viva, and Joy, Norwegian has made the decision to convert Encore's Premier Owner's Suites with Large Balcony from 2-bedrooms to 3-bedrooms. These expanded suites will have 3 1/2 baths, a renovated living room, master bedroom, a separate dining room, and new outdoor balcony furniture.

STATEROOMS | In addition to the refreshed Haven suites, NCL will be adding 24 new Balcony staterooms, as well as 2 Club Balcony staterooms by repurposing a portion off the ship's Observation Lounge.

After the completion of these enhancements, Encore will embark on her transatlantic journey from the U.K. to Miami to begin 7-day sailing to the Caribbean through March 2025. For the summer she will begin week-long cruises to Alaska from Seattle, giving guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy the brand new enhancements while sailing through the Last Frontier!
