NCL has just announced that Bliss and Breakaway will be entering dry dock to undergo renovations. Both ships will be offering new spaces, alongside expanded favorites, for a more elevated guest experience. Additions include a new outdoor venue, cinema, and dining experience, as well as expanded restaurants and upgraded Haven spaces.
David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line, said in a statement about the renovations, "At Norwegian Cruise Line, our guests and what they value most is critical in order for us to develop experiences. Our goal is to provide them their very own best vacation. From creating new concepts that offer more outdoor gathering spaces for making memories with friends and family, to expanding dining options that consistently bring joy to our guests across our fleet, we’re providing more to do and more to enjoy for all types of travelers."

Norwegian Bliss
Bliss will enter dry dock from January 17, 2025, through February 2, 2025, and will be debuting new and upgraded options for guests. After her dry dock, she will head to Miami for the remainder of the winter, and then on to the Mexican Riviera for spring, before heading to Alaska for the summer season.
HORIZON PARK | The brand new Horizon Park will be a versatile outdoor gathering space, offering fun lawn games, as well as relaxation spaces. Here guests can enjoy corn hole, jumbo jenga, and reclining chairs for sunbathing as they take in the sweeping views of the ocean from this upper deck.
THE HAVEN | NCL has listened to the demand for the new 3-bedroom suite category in the Haven. The Premiere Owner's Suites with Large Balcony are the top-tier suites on the ship and will include 3 bedrooms, as well as a refurbished living and dining space, and outdoor balcony.
BALCONY STATEROOMS | Norwegian has also announced plans to repurpose part of the Observation Lounge on Deck 15, to make way for 24 additional balconies - one of the most popular stateroom categories onboard the ship.
CAGNEY'S | Cagney's is without a doubt one of Norwegians most popular specialty restaurants, and this space will be expanded on Bliss. The Cagney's expansion will replace Los Lobos.
TEPPANYAKI | Another popular dining options, Teppanyaki, will be expanded, replacing Coco's.
PALOMAR | This elevated seafood restaurant, which premiered on the Prima Class ships, will be coming to Bliss, replacing Ocean Blue

Norwegian Breakaway
Breakaway will be entering dry dock from February 19, 2025 through March 14, 2025 for several upgrades onboard. After the renovations she will sail throughout Europe to picturesque destinations such as Italy, Spain, France, and Greece.
SILVER SCREEN BISTRO | This brand new NCL venue will be making its debut on Breakaway, and will be an immersive movie and dining experience! Available for guests of all ages to enjoy, Silver Screen Bistro will offer comfortable, oversized recliners, retractable tables, and a delicious menu of hand-held favorites, including select dishes from Food Republic.

CAGNEY'S | The ever-popular Cagney's Steakhouse will be expanded on Breakaway, taking over Moderno Churrascaria for additional seating.
PALOMAR | After its rise in popularity on the Prima Class ships, Palomar will be coming to Breakaway, replacing Ocean Blue.
VIBE BEACH CLUB | The Vibe Beach Club is the adults-only outdoor beach club-style venue, and will be expanded during the renovations.
HAVEN SUNDECK | The Haven Sundeck will be enhanced and expanded, offering additional seating and cabanas with stunning ocean views for Haven guests.
