Happy New Year! 2025 is slated to be one of the best years of cruising, with millions of people across the globe expected to book a cruise, and many new ships sailing on their inaugural voyages. Several cruise lines have announced new ships arriving this year, and we could not be more excited for the lineup. Here is our list of the most anticipated cruise ships coming in 2025:



Royal Caribbean, Star of the Seas

ROYAL CARIBBEAN - STAR OF THE SEAS | Royal Caribbean's second Icon Class ship will sail away on her maiden voyage in August, taking her first passengers around the Caribbean out of Port Canaveral, Florida. She will weigh in at just over 250,000 gross registered tons, and will have a passenger capacity of 5,610.



Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL, Norwegian Aqua

NCL - NORWEGIAN AQUA | Norwegian's very first Prima-Plus Class ship will make her grand debut on March 28th, beginning her inaugural season in North America. She will be larger than her Prima Class predecessors, Prima and Viva, and will feature new and expanded offering onboard.



Celebrity Cruises, Edge Series, Celebrity Xcel

CELEBRITY CRUISES - CELEBRITY XCEL | Celebrity's Edge Series of ships have been wildly popular, and Xcel will be their 5th ship in the lineup. She will begin taking guests on cruises starting November 18th, with week-long itineraries out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.



Princess Cruises, Star Princess

PRINCESS CRUISES - STAR PRINCESS | This innovative new Princess ship will arrive in October, featuring LNG power. She will be the second-largest ship in the entire fleet, and offer incredible onboard experiences such as the new Sanctuary Collection.



Oceania Cruises, Oceania Allura

OCEANIA CRUISES - OCEANIA ALLURA | Making her grand debut on July 18th, Allura will weigh in at 67,000 tons, with an intimate capacity of 1,200 passengers. She will begin her inaugural season in the Mediterranean, before heading across the Atlantic for a series of voyages in Canada and New England.



MSC Cruises, MSC World America

MSC CRUISES - WORLD AMERICA | This giant cruise ship will begin her career in Miami on April 12th. She will feature LNG power, the pinnacle of the MSC World Class Series. World America will weigh in at just over 205,000 tons, and have a capacity of 5,400 guests.
