Today is the launch of Utopia of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s 6th of the Oasis class of ships. Onboard Utopia will be favorites familiar to the Royal Caribbean fans, as well as brand new features that are sure to become future favorites. THE SHIP AND ITINERARY
Upon launch, Utopia is the 2nd biggest ship at sea, just behind Icon of the Seas, and slightly larger than Wonder. She weighs in at 236,860 gross registered tons, with a total of 18 decks, and endless fun and entertainment possibilities. Utopia is the first Oasis class ship powered by LNG, and the second in the fleet!
One of the new and exciting things about Utopia is her 3 and 4 day cruises. This is the first time you can experience a weekend cruise on a brand new ship, but don’t worry, you still get to have fun in all the same places, such as CocoCay and the new Nassau Beach Club. Combine trips with back-to-back 3 and 4 day cruises for a week onboard, featuring an itinerary that will give you 4 stops at private island experiences! You can even do back-to-back-to-back for a fun 10 day vacation at sea.
Utopia still features distinct neighborhoods such as the Boardwalk, Central Park, and the Promenade, and boasts all the fan favorite activities such as the AquaTheater performances, FlowRider surf simulator, zip-line, and the Ultimate Abyss which is the largest dry slide on the seas! DINING OPTIONS ON UTOPIA
As most of you know, half the fun of the cruise is the food, and Utopia is bringing back all of the favorites, and adding even more! So whether you are in the mood for a little Italian pizza and wine, tacos by the pool, sushi in the park, or a tropical drink at the tiki bar, you will have no problem finding delicious dining options all over the ship.
Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar - Giovanni’s has been expanded for Utopia, featuring 2 floors with an outside deck so you can enjoy your pizza and pasta al fresco!
The Mason Jar - Southern comfort food at its absolute best, the Mason Jar is the spot for brunch, lunch and dinner!
Izumi in the Park / Izumi Hibachi & Sushi - Izumi is back, except, on Utopia, it is now located in Central Park, and this allows for its brand new walkup window. So now you can sit down to dine, or grab-and-go your sushi favorites! The walkup window will also feature ice cream in fun bubble waffle cones!
The New Immersive Dining Experience - Although keeping it under wraps, Royal Caribbean has hinted at the new and exciting dining experience on Utopia. From what we know, it will feel as though you left the ship and are on a train journey during the golden age of rail travel. Starting with pre-dinner drinks on the train platform, when the whistle blows, the epicurean adventure begins. You will take in the sights, sounds, and flavors on this journey of multiple courses that takes you miles away from the ordinary. Chops Grille & Trellis Bar - Located in Central Park, Chops is an all-time Royal Caribbean classic! A romantic setting with a mouthwatering menu of expertly seasoned cuts and classic sides, Chops is unapologetic steakhouse food!
Hooked Seafood - From Maryland crab cakes, to Maine Lobster rolls, or Danny’s favorite messy fish sandwich, Hooked is the prime spot for a good summer-style meal on the high seas.
Cantina Fresca - Inspired by the fresh flavors of Mexico, Cantina Fresca is the can’t-miss cocktail spot. The selection of Mexican beers and libations are the perfect pairing for you tacos and burritos from the next door El Loco Fresh!
The Lime & Coconut - The Caribbean bar has been taken up a notch, with 3 locations where you can enjoy sips and dips on the pool deck.
In addition to the specialty restaurants, there are the delicious complimentary dining options as well, from buffets of fresh food, to food trucks, to soft serve, there is something for everyone!
The Windjammer Marketplace - The Windjammer is the everyday buffet that has both hot and cold bars with endless food and dessert options, certain to satisfy your appetite after a long day of fun!
Solarium Bistro - The all-you-can-eat dining spot is back. With panoramic ocean views, the Solarium is the perfect spot to fill up your plates and bellies with delicious food throughout the day!
El Loco Fresh - Of course they brought back El Loco Fresh for Utopia. It is Mexican cuisine at its most delicious that you can enjoy while relaxing by the pool with your family and friends!
Sprinkles - The soft serve hot spot is better than ever with the all-new toppings bar, because nothing beats an ice cream cone with sprinkles and a cherry on top!
The Food Truck - The all-new food truck on the pool deck is the place for quick bites and handheld favorites, making the family pool day even more fun!
ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTIVITY OPTIONS ON UTOPIA
Royal Caribbean is known for the amazing entertainment and fun family activities while onboard, or onshore, and Utopia is no exception!
Pools and Waterslides - A weekend on Utopia will be jam packed with pool and beach days, with 8 pools to choose from, both on ship and on land. There are 17 different water slides between the ship and CocoCay, as well as the biggest dry slide at sea, and the tallest waterslide in North America! It’s fun for the entire family!
Additional Adventures - From the FlowRide surf simulator, to the rock climbing walls, and the sports court, there are endless active adventures to be found onboard Utopia!
Shows and Performances - Royal Caribbean continues its tradition of spectacular shows and concerts. Between the skating rink with ice shows, the AquaTheater with diving feats, and the Royal Theater with its many theatrical performances, the whole family can get in on the excitement of Utopia’s spectacular entertainment!
More Entertainment - There are endless options of fun on Utopia, all you have to do is choose! If you like stand up comedy, pull up a chair at The Attic. For a little salsa or flamenco, stop by Baleros, the latin hot spot for a bit of dancing and drinks. At the Music Hall you can experience some amazing rock concerts at sea! Spotlight Karaoke is a great place for everyone to have a bit of fun belting out their favorite songs. The Pesky Parrot is a new tiki bar exclusive to Utopia, so stop by and grab a delicious drink with your friends! At Playmakers Sports Bar and Arcade, you can dine on your favorite pub bites, such as chicken wings or nachos, while you watch the big game on the many tv screens throughout the space.
Casinos - We advise gambling responsibly as you enjoy an evening at either of the two casinos onboard the ship. Choose the non-smoking area, or go for the smoking space if you prefer the full Casino Royale experience. Whether you are a pro poker player, or a newbie, you can try your hand at neary 30 table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.
Kids Spaces - Royal Caribbean always makes sure that every member of the family enjoys themselves while onboard. There are many fun spaces for children throughout, and a great kid’s club so that the parents are able to have some fun while the kids play!

Utopia is one of the Royal Caribbean suite class ships, which means there are 3 different tiers of suites, each with their own benefits.
TIER ONE - STAR CLASS
When you book a Star Class Suite, you get access to everything Royal Caribbean has to offer, including the unlimited dining package, unlimited beverage package, pre-paid gratuities, and internet. Also included is the Royal Genie, who is with you every step of the way, to make sure they line up the perfect Royal Caribbean experience for you! You will also have access to all the suite amenities in the key-card-access-only Suite Neighborhood, including Suite Sun Deck, Suite Lounge, and Coastal Kitchen which is the breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot exclusive to the Suite Neighborhood.

The Solarium Suite - These 2 suites sit over the wings of the ship, and include a front facing bedroom window, as well as a wrap around window in the living space, giving you gorgeous panoramic views all throughout!
The Royal Loft Suite - The Royal Loft is the very top suite aboard the ship, and has new features including a bathtub option off the master bedroom, a brand new outdoor shower, and a connecting door to the Crown Loft Suite, making it perfect for your family or group of up to 10 people to have connecting spaces!
The Ultimate Family Suite - Enhanced further for Utopia, this star class suite is a huge space, perfect for the ultimate family vacation! It also has a connecting door to the Crown Loft Suite, so you can have a connecting space to spread out even more with family and friends!
AquaTheater Suites - These beautiful 2 bedroom suite options are located on decks 8, 9, and 10, and overlook the magnificent AquaTheater!
TIER TWO - SKY CLASS
When you book a Sky Class Suite, you have access to the Suite Neighborhood, have expedited boarding, complimentary wifi login, and other upgrades!
Suites within Sky Class include 1 bedroom AuquaTheater Suites on deck 11, 12, and 14, as well as Grand Suites, Owner Suites, and the Crown Loft Suites.
Sky Junior Suites - A brand new category to the Sky Class, the Sky Junior Suites give you access to all the suite amenities, including the Suite Lounge, Coastal Kitchen, Suite Sun Deck, and all the wonderfulness of having a full suite!
TIER THREE - SEA CLASS
Sea Class suite options include the Junior Suites on board. These suites will have great upgrades, and, based on availability, you may be able to dine in the Coastal Kitchen as well!
ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS
