Windstar is growing its fleet for the first time in thirty years! Boutique luxury cruise line- Windstar is adding two new ships to their Star Class lineup with Star Seeker arriving in December of 2025, and Star Explorer in December 2026. Their most recent ship was christened in 1990, so the debut of Star Seeker will mark the 35th year since Windstar has introduced a new ship.
Each of their upcoming ships will be all-suite vessels, featuring 112 staterooms with full private verandas and infinity windows. Windstar will also be introducing a new Owners Suite with a wrap-around balcony and a spacious layout.
Both ships will feature a watersport platform, the famous Yacht Cafe and Lounge, and a two-story spa and fitness facility. Guests will be able to relax to the fullest onboard either of these two vessels, whether through spa treatments and workout classes, or kayaking off the back of the ship. In addition Seeker and Explorer will have strengthened hulls, allowing them to travel further and to more destinations than ever before with polar capabilities.
Windstar is purchasing these two ships from Mystic Cruises, and the company will be putting their own unique Windstar touch into both vessels. Dining will be a huge focus, expanding the options to include the Star Grill, Yacht Cafe, and the Amphora restaurant that will now offer outdoor seating for al fresco dining.
We love to see Windstar expanding the fleet, and we look forward to more details as they announce them.
